DOCTOR PSYCHEDELIC comes to this point in his musical career after a rather checkered past, filled with mind-expanding substances, hallucinatory revelations, and an aborted attempt to be the next Anthony Robbins. The Doctor paid his dues in the usual garage band jamming sessions, furiously shaking his hair extensions while wailing on the guitar. This was not enough for him and he began to explore every pharmaceutical concoction possible, in order to learn what his true life purpose could be. Armed with the Physician's Desk Reference he began with the letter "A" for Ativan and doggedly worked his way down to "Z" for Zoloft, in his noble quest for enlightenment. One day while in the midst of a particularly lucid vision it hit him: people had way too many hang-ups! They were frightened by just about everything and in attempting to cope they became addicted to everything from food to household electronics. Doctor Psychedelic realized that if he could help people get rid of their addictions, they could face their fears, ease their minds, and tune into a much more peaceful groove with the Cosmos. He had found his calling! After a bumpy bout in Detox, he decided to go back to his musical roots. He composed songs that stimulated each chakra of the human body, with specific tones that would open them enough to connect mankind to the universe. His music has been hailed by gurus the world over as the most effective way to enlighten the mind, cleanse the soul, clear up acne, and become One with the Infinite. This is the Musical Experience that is PRIEST FROM PLUTO. THE GENERAL has his origins in the Orion System. He has spent his existence touring the galaxy, using his travels to preach a message of salvation through universal love. He eventually set up a base on Pluto, our solar system’s front line. Here he dedicated his life as a guardian of the solar system and defender of humanity’s promise, all the while planning to bring awareness to man’s consciousness and prepare them for the grand opening of the skies. Called upon by the uncanny frequencies emanating from the Doctor’s aural experiments, The General has now landed on earth. It is now time for man to raise his weary head to see the future that is written in the stars. ORANGE MAN left his home on Pluto long ago, frustrated by his race’s derogatory attitude towards Earth. He did his best to fit in but has always felt like a bit of an outsider, leading a quiet existence raising his orangelings as he explored his fascination with human sexual rituals. The reclassification of Pluto as a non-planet served as a spiritual awakening. He entered Detox in an unsuccessful attempt to shake his addictions to Nestle’s Quick and DIsneyland. There he met the Doctor, who convinced him that PRIEST FROM PLUTO would be the perfect vehicle to spread his message of rhythmic purity.
